Vision

Dentro La Terra is located in a small village of Abruzzo, one of the most important wine producing regions of Italy and home to an important ecosystem with a significant level of biodiversity. When exploring Abruzzo, every day brings new discoveries thanks to breathtaking views and the proximity between the highest peaks of the Apennine mountain range and the Adriatic Coast.

We want to ensure that while the beauty of our land becomes ever more recognized and known, even a small village in the middle of rural central Italy can become part of - and contribute to - relevant global conversations and initiatives.

Dentro La Terra is conceived as a platform connecting the social, economic and natural diversities of our area with global conversations and creating opportunities for mutually beneficial exchanges and contamination.

This commitment is driven by:

• a passion to rethink the travel experience in Abruzzo, disrupt stereotypes and the negative impact that tourism can have, and lead the way to innovation;

• a sense of justice for our communities, who deserve much better access to and contact with artistic and cultural creation;

• love for an unspoilt bit of Italy that we want to share with visitors from around the world.

The renovation of an ancient palazzo and its mixed use for commercial holiday rentals and artists retreat is meant to create these opportunities for artistic and cultural growth, as well as for the regeneration of the historic center of the village of Arielli, colloquially referred to as Dentro La Terra.
